Heriot-Watt University brings to you TEDx this October. TEDxHeriotWattUniversity aims to share the progress being made not just within the university but also the local community.

After the great success of our first TEDx event in September 2015 with the theme of "Think Aloud", this will be Heriot-Watt University's second TEDx event which will feature live speakers with a combination of TEDTalks videos that seek to spark deep discourse.

With "Transition" as the theme for our TEDx this year we will be focussing on the drastic rate at which everything around us is changing; from technology to nature to human behaviour.

TEDxHeriotWattUniversity will be held on October 8, 2016, Saturday at James Watt Centre 2, Heriot-Watt University. It is going to be a half-day event with a break session where light refreshments will be served. Lunch will be provided alongside our interactive spaces where we have some interesting surprises planned for the audience.
