Marine Cloud Brightening

Professor Stephen Salter is Emeritus Professor of Engineering Design at Edinburgh University, and has been solving the world's major problems since 1974 when he invented the Edinburgh Duck, a potential solution to the Oil Crisis and the world's energy needs.

Now, Salter has devised a device floating on the surface of the oceans, that sprays a fine mist of water into the skies. This helps to cool the Earth's atmosphere, and increase rainfall. Could marine cloud brightening be part of the solution to man made climate change and the global water crisis?
